Following is the NEET Question pattern as per the CBSE notification given for the year 2018

Marking Scheme For each correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 4 marks; if an answer is wrong, then 1 mark will be deducted.

Highlights of NEET Question pattern

  1. Marking Scheme: Each question will contain four marks. Total four marks will be given for each correct answer.
  2. Negative Marking: There will be negative marking in this examination; one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
  3. Candidates are required to use only blue/black ball point pen to mark their answers.
  4. Candidates note down multiple answers for one question will lead to the negative marking.
  5. All questions will be multiple choice in nature
  6. Those candidates who select Hindi or any of the regional languages as medium of question paper will receive the question paper in the selected language and English. However, those candidates who select English as their medium of language will receive the question paper only in English.
  7. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
